On Wednesday 11/18/15 we went to Jacksonville to have some fun, have a college fair, President Jackson spoke to the students. Students were bused in from all over Jacksonville for fun and to learn about the educational advantages at Bethune-Cookman University. We had a great time. I thought I'd share some pictures here.
President Jackson, Mr. Larry Roziers, Ms. Manicia Finch and Mr. Warren Heusner

Surprise, Bethune-Cookman University handed out scholarships to some of the students who had applied.

B-CU Connect Day and Football team's last home game of the season. GREAT COMBINATION

What a great day today. B-CU Connect Day was a success in my opinion. Everyone got to tour the campus, get some information, a couple souvenirs and tickets to the football game and tailgating. Long but fun day.

This young man from Kenya was following a dream. A dream to study in the United States and a dream to do what he loved. He persevered and it wasn't easy. His admission process was a long one, Many international students have many things to do to study in the United States, but as Daniel Kiptoo shows in this link below, it pays to follow your dreams.
